WELCOME The Community Association of Bernardo Heights (CABH) is a master planned community located in the heart of Rancho Bernardo. This lovely community with its beautiful parkways and neatly manicured slopes is home to almost 3500 residences and was established in 1981. Membership to the community is granted by ownership or leasing in one of the twenty-nine communities that comprise CABH. There is a private park located in the community with four tennis courts, a tot lot, walking path and ball field available for use by residents. You can reserve your spot at the park for a family get together right here near your home. In addition to the park, the community has a newly renovated seven thousand square foot community center. This community center has billiard tables and ping pong for a friendly game. There is a warm inviting community room with a gas fireplace that opens onto a lovely patio. On the patio there is a large gas grill to gather your family and friends to enjoy a meal. Two pools are available at the center with one pool that can be rented for private parties during the summer season. A wading pool and Jacuzzi are also located at the facility and there is an instructor to offer swim lessons. The Community Center has several rooms available for private party rentals. Tables and chairs are provided and kitchen facilities are available for use. There are audio/ video friendly rooms for meetings and presentations. CABH has a variety of clubs and classes. There is a tennis pro, Tom Madill who offers both private or group lessons for all ages. During the summer Tom has a very popular summer tennis camp for children. There is an active Bridge club, Mah Jong, Aqua-X, Yoga, Book Club and Spanish Club at the center, just to name a few. There is also an active artists guild that hosts a feature artist each month in addition to free art seminars. If you want to keep in shape there is a well appointed fitness room and a private fitness instructor who offers group or one to one training as well.
